I agree on the superboy-prime factor. If each were fighting to kill their opponents, then supes would instantly take it. If he saw hulk beating up a city or some thing, then he would just smack hulk about until realizing that there was no strategy to conquer him except by killing him. Nevertheless, if they both received teleported into some pocket universe, and were forced to battle every single other for the demise together with the loser acquiring his universe destroyed.
